Wilbur Reid serves as Director of Strategic Pricing for SP Richards Company. He has worked with manufacturing and distribution to instill a scientific, data-driven approach to pricing and margin management. However, through research in academia and 17 years of corporate pricing leadership in manufacturing and distribution he learned that there is a lot more to pricing than just pricing. Wilbur is a Certified Pricing Professional and was the recipient of the 2004 Professional Pricing Society Award of Excellence for innovative work at Kimberly-Clark Corp. He is the inventor of a patent pending process that aggregates dealer/reseller point-of-sale data and provides pricing, margin, and sales analysis and recommendations.

Wilbur holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and is nearing completion of a PhD in Organizational Leadership at Regent University.

Alan Rakov is President, Revenue Management, for Live Nation Entertainment’s North American Concerts division. He is responsible for maximizing revenue from ticket sales through development of new distribution channels, implementation of dynamic pricing capabilities, and inventory management strategies.

Alan previously worked with Ticketmaster Entertainment for several years in a variety of positions, most recently as head of TicketExchange, Ticketmaster’s secondary market solution. Previously Alan was General Manager of Northern California and Northern Nevada for Ticketmaster, where Alan had P&L responsibility for Ticketmaster’s fourth largest market.

Alan is a 15 year veteran in the live entertainment industry, with experience on the client, venue and promoter segments of the value chain. His diverse background includes leading and developing brand marketing, ticketing and operational programs for the Honolulu Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Hollywood Bowl. Prior to joining Ticketmaster Alan was a professional violinist and performed as soloist and concertmaster with various orchestras throughout the United States and Europe.

Alan earned an M.B.A. from The Anderson School of Business at UCLA, has an M.F.A. from The Eastman School of Music, and earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University.
